Traci and I spent a few nights over the past couple of weeks getting our garden started. We planted some of the same things that we did last year plus a few new ones. We started the following from seeds and clumps of "stuff"- Watermelon, strawberries, onions, cucumbers, snow peas, and corn. Tomatoes, bell peppers, peppers and some watermelon were started a few weeks ago in the house.
The garden is in the back corner of the yard

So jealous of your yard and garden! May it be very fruitful for you.
Brother Bill & Tracie what a lovley yard nice & green someones got to be real diligent on watering it but worth it! I love the raised garden it look like you planted a little bit more this year. I hope that Peter Cotton aka=rabbit dosent beat you to the carrots this year:) I love you both!

Did you know that it will take 3 years for that asparagus to give you anything to digest? I planted asparagus this year and the dog dug it up and ate it, so I am on my second plant and t minus three years until enjoyment, if the dog doesn't enjoy it first!
3 long years. It's hard to watch it grow knowing that we can't dig our teeth into it for another year or so. :-) There is a wild patch at the Ranch in South Dakota that we raid right after Father's day.
